Why Your Support Matters
Support through SEPO leaves a lasting impact on our students, staff, and community. Through programs like our Teacher Classroom Stipend and Classroom Celebration Fund, teachers are able to accommodate their classroom needs, add learning enrichments beyond District provided funds, and add an element of fun without the worry of how to pay for things. Students in grades Kindergarten through 6th participate in experiences brought into the schools and field trips in and beyond our community. SEPO provides the funding for these experiences as well as the busing needed. SEPO provides discretionary dollars for each school administrator to help support school-wide needs and wants. Principals have used these funds for things like : a Makerspace at Warren Elementary, a picnic table for the Grant Watts playground, a Gaga Ball Pit and recess supplies at Otto Petersen, in school assembly experiences and so much more! SEPO provides free community events such as the Fall Harvest Festival, Bingo Night, and the Hearts & Arrows Dance.
Every contribution helps SEPO contribute to the quality of education in our Scappoose Elementary Schools, helping to ensure that all students and teachers have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
